Help for Headaches and Migraines

January 9, 2009 by

There are some of us that have headaches on a regular basis but for the rest of us, they really only happen every once in a while. Just because you only have a headache on occasion, does not necessarily mean that it is something that should be overlooked. A headache may be a sign of a very serious underlying problem but more than likely, it is just something that can be handled with a little bit of aspirin, a cool rag on your forehead and a nap. Try doing this for yourself, you would be surprised with how quickly it will take care of the problem.

However, migraine headaches are among the most painful things that we can experience as humans. Of course, there are other painful things that we can experience, such as kidney stones but this type of headache is one that is going to cause serious problems for you as long as it sticks around. If you only have a migraine on occasion, see if you can pin down what is causing it and relieve yourself of that cause. If you have them on a regular basis, you might want to consider going to a doctor to see if there is a medication that he can give you to overcome them.

Unfortunately, cronic headaches are something that many of us have to deal with on a regular basis. If you have a hehadache and you would like to be able to get on with your life instead of allowing it to sidetrack you, here are some helpful suggestions. First of all, you can try putting some ice directly on the area of the pain, as this seems to help in many cases. You might also try taking a nap if at all possible, pulling a cool rag on your forehead and allowing it to soothe away the pain to a certain extent. A massage can also be helpful as can accupressure and aromatherapy.

*As always, this should not be construed as professional medical advice and you should consult a doctor before taking any medical advice.

This might sound really stupid- But I’ve seen a lot of videos where people are making their own “homemade juice.” Is there something wrong with just buying already squeeze juice? Not lemonade but just the juice.

The girl is a jewel – so natural and unpretentious, as if unconscious of her looks. Comparing her to Ann Hathaway means flattering the latter.

Stress can sometimes cause this (an example only), but I would recommend seeing your doctor for further evaluation of the situation to see what they think could be going on.

The presence of migraines AND vertigo together are a huge indication that you have an upper cervical vertebrae problem, or a "subluxation/fixation" in Chiropractic language.
They are pressing on the nerves of your upper neck, and also impinging on the blood flow to your head.
Did you ever have an injury in the last few years? (or even longer ago). It often starts this way, but either way, get to a good HMO Chiropractor (a REAL CHIROPRACTOR – not some cheap immitation) to get Diversified/Activator work done on your upper spine.
It should take 8-12 tiimes. Good luck.
