The guy lied repeatedly to the voters, newspaper reporters and the Republic’s editorial board about his voter registration, in AZ and in Florida, where he previously resided. He registered as a Republican FIVE lousy days before filing his intent to run. John Shadegg not only stayed with the endorsement, after the fabrication was finally revealed, but brought in one of his out-of-state congressional cohorts to also endorse in the race. That did it for me. It was preposterous and clearly attempting to dupe the voters in the district. A solid, credentialed conservative who had “paid his dues” to the GOP, was also in the race.
