Sounds like a RAM resource issue. If you are running too many applications that can happen.

Vista needs a lot of RAM itself to run effectively as does your active security products. Once you start running other programs each will need a certain amount of RAM. If you have too much running, then the programs start competing against each other.

Microsoft says you only need 1GB to run Vista Home Premium, but that is grossly understated when you start running other programs simultaneously.

The above situation is also reflected within the shipping industry in South Africa as well.. The commodity trade has been the hardest hit with commodities such as Chrome and Steel being worst affected..

Compared to a situation in the 3rd quarter where the shipping lines had virtually stopped marketing due to lack of space, now they are all over the market trying to get the last bits of cargo available..

As per the experts in the commodity markets this situation is set to continue right till about the 2nd quarter of 2009..

One can only wait and watch..
