Planning a trip to Hawaii? Then consider looking into a Hawaii travel package. You’ll find many different offers of to spend your Hawaii vacation. You can get a package that will allow you to spend all your time on one island or to visit multiple islands during your visit.
Though, when you look around many places say unless you’ve been to Hawaii before you should pick just for one island for your first visit. The more seasoned traveler, who’s been to Hawaii before, will know they what to do and see among the different islands.
Here is some information on one or two of the main islands to help you choose between them. Each island is different and has a lot to offer the tourist. Hopefully this information will help you make the most of your Hawaii travel package.
If volcanoes excite you, then Kilauea is the most active in the world. You will find that in the Hawaii Volcanoes National Park on the Big Island of Hawaii that also offers some great rainforests that many tourists love to backpack through. The island also some great surfing and magnificent beaches, ad you can also do some diving in the clear waters if you like. If you like fishing, there is lots of opportunity of sea fishing around the coast.
Maui will be the next stop in our short tour of islands. Checking out the Haleakala Crater is a must for this trip. Also offering a beauty, second to none, is tranquil and scenic Lao Valley.
Another island you will love on your Hawaiian travel package is Lanai. This is also known as ‘Pineapple Island’ (no prizes for guessing why) and there are only two resorts here. That means that you won’t be crowded, and this is the place if you want to enjoy Hawaii and also enjoy your peace and quiet.
Molokai, which is the ‘Friendly Isle’, offers visitors to experience what an older Hawaii used to be like. Laid-back, no stop lights, friendly natives (which gives the island it’s nickname) and traditional ways of living is what you’ll find here.
Oahu has many beaches on the island and the landmark Diamond Head is located here in addition to Waikiki and Pearl Harbor. Oahu is home to great shopping and a slew of ethnic restaurants from Hawaiian to Chinese, Japanese, Thai, and Korean in addition to Western cuisine.
Finally, we come to the last island in this short tour of Hawaii. Last but by no means least, because it is Kauai, a magnificent display of natural beauty offering what Mark Twain called ‘The Grand Canyon of the Pacific’: Waimea Canyon. It also offers the Pacific Ocean fronted by the 1,000 foot cliffs of the Napali Coast, and some fabulous waterfalls. This is truly a feast of natural beauty, and you can sit and enjoy it on one of its many beaches that boasts the most wonderful climate in the world.

Hawaii vacation rentals are vacation heaven, especially when it comes to scenery. But even wonderful scenery would be clouded without great accommodations, and Hawaii delivers on that. It’s easy to just make a call and have an agent put a vacation package together, but it’s much more fun to go online and look at all the excellent options available, and they’re complete with descriptions, phone numbers and online reservations.
Take the example of Hanalei Bay on the island of Kauai. This beautiful beach stretches for three miles with a backdrop of waterfalls and tropical mountains, with only eight vacation homes on the stretch of beach. You have the choice of a lovely four-bedroom holiday home, or a smaller cottage by the ocean beautifully designed for couples. They are ideal for Hawaiian getaways to avoid the tourist crush.
Besides offering guest magnificent scenery, most all Hawaii vacation rentals are within a short distance of great restaurants, art shops and shopping. Hawaii truly is one of the great places to choose for vacationing – the weather is superb and the tropical atmosphere invites relaxation.
You have many options at hand to put a vacation package together. In addition to your accommodations these will include car rental, air fare, some meals along with a list of tours and island adventures to take in while you enjoy the hospitality of Hawaii.
There are loads of tourist attractions in Hawaii, such as the Maui Theater and the Haleakala Crater (also on Maui). In Oahu you have Pearl Harbor, of course, with the Arizona Memorial, the Sea Life Park, and all the delights that Honolulu has to offer. The Big Island offers Kilauea volcano, said to be the world’s most active, and lots of surfing and crystal clear waters, and Lanai if you are seeking an island that offers more peace and tranquility than crowds of people.
If you’re worried about getting bored and being tired of laying on the beach, well, don’t be. There’s sport fishing, bicycling, hot tubs, night clubs, playgrounds, game rooms, fitness centers, beauty shops, horseback riding, hiking, canoeing, tennis, golf, parasailing, scuba or snorkeling, whale watching, surfing and an endless list that goes on and on.
