Why you should Improve Your Kitchen With A Kitchenaid Classic Plus Stand Mixer
December 31, 2009 by John38
There are essential items that are needed in every kitchen. If you are going to do any home cooking or baking then you will want to have an efficient mixer. Whether whipping cream, making cakes, or preparing fruit juices a mixer will save you from making a mess all over your work surfaces. One of the most popular choices is the KitchenAid Classic Plus Stand Mixer and for good reason.
For a start the KitchenAid Stand Mixer sits on top of the work surface ready to be used at any time. It does not require assembling as is the case with other models. Also you do not need to worry about were to store all the various mixing attachments; when not in use these can be kept within the actual bowl so that you always know were they are.
If you have used a mixer before then you are probably aware of their tendency to hop around the surface they are on, some would even jump so much that the contents would spray everywhere. The Kitchen Aid Classic Plus Stand Mixer has been designed in such a way that it can be used without the need for you to watch over it. You can devote more time and effort to other aspects of your baking.
In most cases when we are shopping it makes good sense to choose products from manufacturers that we trust over items that may be cheaper but are made by a company we have never heard of. KitchenAid have been in the business of providing kitchen solutions for more than six decades – a lot of food has been created using their reliable products.
They are a popular choice with hundreds of thousands of families and are even used by some of the most well known television chefs. Of course it is not by chance that these mixers have developed such a good reputation. They are manufactured from high quality stainless steel and have a warranty to cover parts for one year.
Today the demands in the kitchen can be intense if you have a large family. Thankfully the KitchenAid Classic Mixer has a motor of 575 watts; this is more powerful than the other models in the same price range. Also, the variety of attachments that come as standard with the mixer allow for a more effective and quicker preparation time.
The KitchenAid Classic Plus Stand Mixer is not just a mixer. You can use it to make ice cream in the summer. It is the type of kitchen appliance that you will wonder how you survived without.

We chose stainless steel bottles. It was a difficult decision because they are more expensive than plastic, but plastic bottles can get stained, leaky, or moldy in no time. In the end, we went with a high quality durable stainless steel bottle that would last for years rather than a bottle that could be perceived as cheap/disposable junk. The best aluminum bottles were more expensive and not really as good because they need a liner that could be damaged with wear. We've been quite happy with our choice of stainless steel bottles – and we've facilitated quite a few fundraisers since then!

Barry County MSUE received $1,000 in WalMart funding for 4-H Ag Awareness Day during which over 500 third graders (not all 4-H) learned about the value of agriculture to our economy and way of life. Other funders to the event at the Barry Expo Center included local banks, insurance companies and United Way.
We also recently received an $850 grant from Cargill Kitchen Solutions to support our F3 ENERGY youth entrepreneurial gardening program. This funding is matched against another grant from Barry Community Foundation and 4-H Participation Fee funding which helped to get the program started.
